Have any of you tried using Cimex on Nylon Pile. Curious if it came out crispy or soft? Thoughts?

No problems, depending on the product (encapsulation) you use.
An inferior product will give inferior results leaving the fiber stiff/crisp.
Using Releasit DS will give the result you & your client will love & expect.
