I wonder ???
#1
Am I naturally a suspicious person, (there's an opening for some smarty ;-) ).

Or am I something like Mel Gibson and hold thoughts of conspiracy theories??

(Mel was actually born in New York, NOT Australia as many believe).

Reason for this post ??

Has anyone noticed the sudden influx of a few members that have no name, merely an alias, and a few short lines??

Now I'm not saying that they're not legit, I'm not the smartest cane toad in the dog's water bowl, I know that, but it just seems a bit strange when out of the blue, these similar posts turn up.

Ah well, guess I better get ready, the trouble 'n strife'll be home soon, then it's off to the Reef Casino for karaoke night.

'n a few cold Guinness's. Wink

PS:: Oh yeah, cane toad in a water bowl.............

Hey !!! Fair suck of the save cobber. Angry

Now although Lief Ericsson landed on what is now Newfoundland in the year 1000 AD, it wasn’t until Christopher Colombus landed in the Caribbean in 1492 that the Americas was “discovered”.

Tongue Then you blokes started playing up and started:

THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

Sometimes referred to as the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783), or the American War of Independence

The first shots of what would become the war for American independence were fired in April 1775

It was after this that you blokes started talking Yankee & other funny talk, ‘n drinkin’ rum ‘n coffee instead of tea every 4th of July. Smile

Now, down under, the Poms never found us until Jimmy Cook, (bless his cotton pickin’ little heart) stepped foot on the sand at Botany Bay in April of 1770.

Crikey, didn’t he make a mess off his first statement when he “conquered” Van Diemans Land, or Terra Australis.

So yews blokes had 300 odd years to start talking your lingo before we was even named, just about.

We still haven’t kicked the Pom’s out, but we do have our own lingo that they can’t understand either.

‘n if it makes yews feels any better, many times I doesn’t unnerstand a word of what some of yews sez either.

Sorry old chap, what was the question again?? Big Grin

I reckon this forum is like a diamond mine for those interested in real cleaning methods and techniques, with a bit of humor (spelt that just for you yankees Big Grin ), thrown in.

Take care all, and let's get some newbies here that really want to learn about the proper way to clean carpets & upholstery.
