Hello boys and girls!! My name is Rob I have been the owner / operator of my own carpet cleaning business since 2001...I have been following this forum for awhile seems like great knowledge and fun..over the past few months I have been trying different products for encap and I am very impressed with the products that I have tried here at Excellent Supply.. I have been using a rotary with fiber plus pad and also bonnets.. I also have a Duplex machine only used a few times...I have always used a hwe system gas powered or electric truckmount and portable. From what I can see I plan on just keeping a portable for urine etc.. The commercial and residential customers that I have used the encap process with love the dry factor..I look forward to future business with Excellent Supply and it's staff...I can't believe how knowledgable the salespeople are on the phone, you can tell they take pride in what they do. So many other suppliers have people on the phone with little or no knowledge. So kudos!

Hey Rob I know you somewhat from your posts on the other board.
Do you have a solution tank on your 175? Makes the job easier if you have one.
I run white floor pads on my machine. Encap-Basic & Encap Punch is good for
residential. Some residential carpets after using encap may dry a little stiff.
Always let the customer know that and tell them to vacuum the next day. It
takes it right out. The results with any Releasit will out clean anything on the market.
If you are going to use your electric t/m J _ g _ _ _ portable you can use PUNCH which doesn't
clog your machine up with foam. Good luck.

Thanks guys! Charles I do have a solution tank. I have not tried the basic but have used the hydrox and ds2 and was very happy... What is the benefit of the basic over the hydrox with residential?

Basic Encap is cheaper and still does a good job. It leaves a good smell.
Doesn't foam much. I use hydrox, punch, basic & encap d/s2. Depends on
how dirty the job is. They all work good so use what you like. Still use
HWE on urine jobs along with odorcide.

Hi Rob and welcome.
As Rick said, "And we don't get a lot of the childish stuff here that happens sometimes on the other boards".
He makes an exception for me. sometimes.
I like the way you're thinking re your equipment, I've gone down that very same road myself and have not regretted one minute of it.
Please join in the discussions and offer your own advice that we may learn from.
That's what we are all here for.
