1. Thoroughly vacuum carpet
2. Use only Releasit products- they blend well - I will pretreat sometimes
with Punch as a prespray.
3. use OP or 175 unit with either spraying on
Releasit d1 or d2 or encap Hydrox. (if it does not have a sprayborg feature) I have cleaned with
only punch before as well with excellent results.
4.after carpet is dry, vacuum and leave a purty pattern-
5. Get paid
6. go to next encap job- repeat.

So much more- this is very general- sometimes I work prespray with a grandi groomer.
and sometimes use not only a microfiber pad, but folow with a cotton to collect more moisture.

Why worry about the merits of any other cleaning agents from other companies- Excellent has you covered with
great chems that get the job done!!

Here's what I have been doing...
Thoroughly vac, apply Releasit punch as a pre spray in heavy soiled areas, apply Releasit ds2 over the rest, go over the whole room with counter rotating brush machine, follow up with damp cotton/ poly blend pads and op machine. Post vac my way out the door for a nice vac pattern. Collect money, leave business cards and brochure, leave brochure at several homes in neighborhood, drive away and think about when it took me all day to make what I can now make in a couple of hours....I was a dealership technician for 25 years. Started doing this part time 12 years ago. Full time now for about a year.

Pauluscarpetcare -
Great insights and advice being given. I concur with SLOTOOLS and MikeB. I like to add a bit of Hydrox when cleaning light colored residential carpet. Adds that bit of "pop" to make the carpet look REALLY good! I personally only use Release-It products......think they are the best around and you won't find a better group of people than Rick and his crew!
Best of luck to you. Keep on cleaning...............

Thanks for the advice. Does anyone use an orbot with fp pads on residential?

I did on a filthy carpet - followed by microfiber- I feel for my situation the MF followed by absorbant cotton would have been better.

Pre-vacuum!

I never post vac as I always use a carpet rake to make fibers stand up. Any crap gets picked up by hand at the post rake session.

Only on Berber. Lesson learned the hard way, I burnt a hole (hyperbole) in some carpet with a Fiber+. The MicroBeast bonnets are perfect for typical residential. I use DS2 and Punch, dwell time about 5-10 minutes. I use Hydrox when I'm dealing with pet urine since my urine remover is also peroxide.

Pre-vacuum, CRB on matted carpet, spray, dwell, Orbot it, post groom with CRB.

I like to post vac with my electrolux upright on everything but CGD because it leaves a nice pattern and picks up all the stray fuzzies.
