Does anyone use the stair climbing wheel set with their CRB? I can't seem to find any information on how these are used - where they attach - and if they are used while cleaning stairs or simply transporting the CRB over stairs.
Many of my jobs are in strangely configured old mansions that have been chopped up into condos or apartments. Stairs can be a beast - the pitch on some would surely have to have been grandfathered or great-grandfathered in to be allowed under code. They often tack down wool/ oriental style runners that wear well but get pretty nasty. If the CRB could be easily navigated down them scrubbing as it went, that would save me quite a bit of time and effort using the Micro-Orbot.
Thanks!

I actually have the dolly or cart that you can get when you by the machine, ask Rick.

Thanks. I have the cart that goes with the TM4, but saw the stair climbing wheels as an option at another site. Maybe they just attach to the dolly and replace the stock round wheels. There is no description, just a picture showing two sets of wheels with three small tires on each coming out from a tri-spoke. Not sure how that would be an improvement over stock round wheels for transport and wanted to know if they would be used instead while operating the machine on stairs.

I use a small clip-on set of wheels for my CRB.
It is merely an axle with large wheels.
It has two "L" shaped pieces of steel that locate under the CRB & a strip of velcro that goes around the CRB handle to secure it.
This can be attached onto either END of the CRB, but NOT at the front nor rear where the brushes are.
Once attached, you simply pull back on the CRB handle and wheel away and up or down stairs.
It is NOT a six wheel dolly for stair climbing that is used for large items such as refrigerators, etc;
Being small and compact it takes up very little room in the van.
I couldn't find an online photo, but if you want to see a pic, just ask and I'll post one tonight.
Hope this helps.

Robert,
As to your question about the stair climbing wheels, they are strictly for the dolly and used to get up stairs rather easily. They are in no way used for cleaning. You have to detach dolly wheels then put on stair climbing set about (2 min). I can send a video showing how to do this but it is relatively simple. Just let me know here at Excellent Supply.

Thanks, Brian. You answered my question. I can carry the TM-4 up stairs without a problem and the stock wheels work just fine for rolling transport and rolling up stairs. I was hoping that these assisted in cleaning stairs.
