I think I know the answers But since going VLM I'm so close to not putting down plastic tabs under furniture because it dries so fast, but I realise that it is still wet and with the furniture legs on top of the carpet the moisture wont evaporate. Has anybody stopped tabbing with VLM?

No, most times I use foam blocks.
When you get old & decrepit with a large frontal obtrusion, it's easier to lift the furniture and nudge the block under with your foot.
Or use a golf putter.
Although there is not a lot of moisture, it doesn't take much to get furniture dyes running.
The exception to this is pine timber that has no dyes.
I don't regret my past, I just regret the times I've wasted with the wrong people.
Take me as I am, or watch me as I go.
I'll retire when I can no longer do what I love, or I no longer love what I can do.
Stop moving, start dying........
