Scheduling and Reminder Software....
#1
What software are you using to send out reminder cards and the such?

Service Monster looks cool, but I'm not too keen on paying $50.00 a month. When I get bigger, sure, but not now.

This is a round-a-bout way to go, but bear with me.

I have been using Quicken for my invoicing and all account keeping for a couple of decades...

Many years back, I also started using Quickens' "Customer Manager" to book in all my work, give me reminders, etc;

I haven't used it to it's full potential as in sending out reminders.

(I'm not really computer literate).

The good thing about these programs is once you buy them, they're yours.

I like to work on the K.I.S.S. principle.

Shorty.

PS:: Check it out at:

Enhance customer service
Boost customer service by setting up email communications such as thank you notes, keeping in touch messages and even birthday cards.

I know, it's an Aussie site, :-) you'll have to check your own area for similar.

We use ACT - been using it for over a decade. It does more things than we can possibly use!

The nice thing about Service Monster is it does all the heavy lifting for you with just a few keystrokes. If you use a piece of CRM software (like ACT) you've still got to do the manual labor (printing, folding, stuffing, stamping, mailing, etc.) There are advantages to either, as with all things in life.
