Everybody has given great definitions.

OP = Oscillating Pad Machine

Padcapping = Using an absorbent pad (as opposed to a brush or fiber pad) under your machine (could be any type of machine - OP or rotary) while you encap.

I think Jamie has a great definition. Except it's not a step you need to do after you encap. You can spray, dwell or not, and just use an absorbent pad.
