I always pre-spray any spots before I start. If they are bad then I prescrub. Then I come through with the shower feed and micro beasts. That process hardly ever misses. Anything that is left then requires more specialist stain removal, but that is rare.

So the answer for me is Yes to dwell time with a pre-spray for spots or traffic lanes.
