Yes, you can use both sides of the Micro-beast. It really is superior to the terrycloth bonnets for most applications. I think the terrycloth might absorb a bit more soil, but they get ugly pretty fast and even washed don't create a good appearance for the customer. However, they are great for demos to show how much soil can be pulled out of a carpet using pad-cap.
