Is it loop construction. If it's loop - either pad will work fine.
If it's cut pile, then you may want to opt for the gentler beige FiberPlus.
As a rule though either pad will work well on just about any commercial carpet you come across. With cut pile you just want to keep an eye on the carpet to make sure everything's OK, if you're using FiberPlus Max. The beige FiberPlus pads last about 20% longer, but the FiberPlus Max clean about 20% faster - so there's a tradeoff.
