Cimex fire
#2
Looks like a shorted out power cord. Over the course of time - the wires inside the cord can break down where the cord enters the handle. The wires will sometimes break and subsequently short out as a result of the tugs on the cord that normally occurs as it gets caught on furniture. A simple way to protect the cord is to give the cord 1 wrap around the handle so there will be minimal strain on the cord if it gets snagged. However it looks like this should be an easy fix. You can most likely trim off the scorched end of the cord that you have there and put it back together again. Please give Rodney a call at our office and he'll be happy to walk you through it. You should be up and running again in no time.
