How to Install the Big Boy Wheel Kit
#1
The Big Boy Boy Wheel Kit comes with a stainless steel axle, semi-pneumatic 10 inch wheels (compared to the stock 7-3/4 inch wheels), and smooth-running bearings are pressed into the wheels. The kit wheels are 25% larger, and that changes the trajectory of the machine making it easier to roll on the carpet. And it's easier to transport the Cimex in and out of the building. Most folks say that the wheels are a total game changer!

Here's a short video showing how to install the Big Boy wheel kit on a Cimex machine. This video shows the installation on a NEW Cimex machine. If you have an older machine, you may need to hacksaw the axle to remove it from the machine. The original stock axle is zinc-plated and it tends to corrode over time. Eventually the tee-piece can become fused to the zinc-plated axle (that's when a hacksaw comes in handy). Fortunately the replacement axle is a high-grade stainless steel, so you won't ever have to contend with corrosion in the future. And we also include a replacement tee-piece in the kit, so you won't need to try to salvage the old one.

Installing the Big Boy Wheel Kit really is pretty easy:
