The MicroBeast Microfiber Bonnets are now here!
#31
Microbeasts are really nice! They dig in a scrub well and hold a lot of junk! Wash up nice without much shrinkage too.

  • The MicroFiber has excellent dirt absorption qualities.
  • The blue scrubbing strips gently dig deeper into the carpet pile.
  • The MicroBeasts are durable.

Just want to make sure I understand their use. After I Cimex sometimes I'll run a 50/50 rayon-poly bonnet under my 175 to pull up more dirt. The MicroBeast would replace this bonnet with better results? Do you run it dry or dampen it? And I read above that you can rinse and re-use on the same job? Thanks for your help!

You would use the MicroBeast just like you're using the 50/50 rayon-poly bonnet under your 175 to pull up more dirt. However the MicroBeast will have more scrubbing agitation.

Dampen the MicroBeast before running it. And yes, it can be rinsed and continue to use it on the same job.

Any bonnets on the way for the Orbot micro? The Superzorb pads for the micro are very hard to change out once they have been washed. It seems like microfiber would be less prone to shrinkage and maybe be more effective.

These things come from China, so unless we were to order a ton of them, there's not much chance of a new size. Anyone interested in say - 1,000 or so? Wink
