Maybe it's just me, but I feel that a van makes a more appropriate impression in our industry. Even if you could manage to work out of a pick-up truck, I don't think it looks as polished. I think a van is expected in our industry. Plus there's more space for graphics. A small van like the Ford Transit Connect works well for a mainly encap business...

I don;t disagree Rick but if you can do a pick up then you can eliminate a vehicle which would save me big money... but i do understand what your saying

I am in the same arena. I have a 2006 cds in a 3/4 ton chevy express paid for a prochem blazer gt 2010 in a 1996 dodge v-6 ( great gas mileage) as far as buying another tm no way i will keep these and this summer will push the vlm cleaning pad capping residential orbot and will keep 100% encapping commercial with the cimexs.
I want to buy a caravan for 100% vlm carpet cleaning when you look at the overhead with hot water extraction over vlm it"s like nite&day now i am more comfortable using an encap product for residential and not just commercial.

I like the small suv and trailer.... Use suv when you know exactly what you going to need and drag the trailer if your not quite sure. Trailers make great bill boards if done right. I use to have 6x12 done right and made lots of appointment at the gas station. 5x8 is not done up yet with fancy vinyl just name and number.

Oh by the way don't wait four years " just do it" I don't regret the change what so ever. Ricks products are awesome! Just completed my whole house and my wife said they look better than ever. Frieze with hydrox and odorcide(fresh). If she approves I know it's good.

That sounds awesome Rob D.. but i have to admit fear would stop me from giving up HWE 101% cold turkey... i know for a fact i would lose my day care and i just very unsure of that... my truck month has several more years left on it i hope to phase it out and phase in encap... but to do it cold turkey... not brave enough... not yet... one day at a time... thats how i gotta do it...

Test out your daycare. Ask to clean 3/4 with hwe and 1/4 encap. It will prove to you and them. You definitely have to be 100% confident or they will sense your doubt.. In good time
