Currently in the process of re-painting my Challenger Op and I am looking for a great adhesive for the bumper. Any thoughts?

I would look for something like 3m spray trim adhesive at a hardware or auto supply store. Spray both surfaces and put together briefly then pull apart till tacky, then stick back together. Works very well. Cleans up with mineral spirits or acetone, thinner, etc,..
Brushable contact cement would work too and be less messy.

I use 3m thin foam adhesive tape. Very similar to tape that holds on car emblems. We used this in auto bodyshop for years. Holds up great with water and chemical. You can find it at autozone part store
