Hey Rick. I saw a pic of the new mini Orbot by Hos. The one with the 11 inch deck. Is that something your will have available in the future?

I have an Orbot. Love it! I think the mini is a waste of $$$.

Where is this pic?

Wait, I found it on the HOS site. I sure would like to know all of the specs though; weight, motor size etc...

This could be the answer for doing small upstairs apartments.

Or a smaller lo boy if available. Something similar to the challenger. Thats the size I'm looking for.Perfect size for residential prescrub or padcap.

Then how about an Oreck Orbiter? Super small. Super light. Super inexpensive.

Rick's right about the Oreck. I have 12" one and it's a work horse. JMo Pretty reasonable priced also.

Does the Oreck need to be ordered with an attachment to run a pad?

You need to modify the driver.

Either strip the nubs off or peel apart the nub driver from the underlying plate.

The Orbiter comes with a pad driver. Not a great pad driver. But it'll work. I used one of these for years in our cleaning business for tight areas and stairs.

Sounds like a good tool for stairs and tight landings on staircases.
The trade off of modifying my challenger is that it's heavier now and bulkier so I have been looking at the orbiter to fill in on small areas. I wondered about the pad driver issue. Thanks for clearing that up Rick.
