Orbital machines
#1
I am in the market for an orbital machine and would like some input from owners. The machine will be used as a tool to complement my TM, Cimex, Brush Pro, and 175.

Is the HOS really worth 3x the Oreck Low Boy?

Does a 'wheels on the ground' set up make that much of a difference?

In addition to the HOS and Oreck, what other machines should I review?

Thanks

Can't answer which machine is the best, but yes a machine with wheels on the carpet is the way to go.

I second that - wheels on the ground for me as well-
I recently purchased a trinity spirit OP and found out quickly that I much prefer
my CM wheels on the ground unit. I am going to adapt a wheels on the ground on the
spirit and all should be good. as far a comparison of Orbot vs Lowboy, personal preference, both should do the job, just depends on features you require and what you are willing to spend.

I see that you have the following........

TM, Cimex, Brush Pro, and 175

How do you find the 175 compares to the Cimex ??

That is a wheels up (175) & a wheels down (Cimex) comparison for you.

I love the wheels down machines & always use them in preference to a wheels up machine.

Your body will thank you in later years for using wheels down.

If you can buy a Lowboy for 1/3 the price of a HOSS, why not buy two Lowboys and employ someone to work with you and make more profit. Wink
