Flinging solution when cleaning stairs.
#1
I have been cleaning stair cases with a makita polisher/sander and a fiber plus pad. works great, only problem is I get encap solution on the side walls. Is this unavoidable/am I using to much prespray or Is there a way to not have to wipe the walls down after and hope the customer is not watching?

Try lightening up on your pre-spray. You only need to see a light whitening of the carpet. Less is more...

Use 8" bonnets instead of pads.

Pads can also, when they have too much solution, fly off of the machine.

This can be dangerous if there are any fragile items around.

Contact Excellent-Supply for the bonnets, Tuway I think.

Good suggestions above. Here's a link to the bonnets that Shorty's referring to....

I ordered the pads, but even the less solution suggestion worked great today. Thanks!
