Cimex clean up questions
#1
Got the Cimex today! Only thing carpet in the house is a closed loop area rug, so gave it a whirl on that. Nice clean smell, took all the spots out of the rug.

A couple questions:

1) do you all use a bucket to put the water in the tank? Then add the solution? Or do you mix it all in the bucket then pour in?

2) After use, do you just rinse the pads or wash with soapy water?

3) We drained the leftover solution into a pitcher. Should it be discarded or can it be reused? After draining we poured clean water in the tank and drained that out. There is still some residual water in the tubing. Is that normal or should we be able to drain to the last drop??

Thanks! Now just to go out and get some biz! Big Grin

!. Normally you mix the solution in a bucket and then pour it into the machine.

2. No. Just leave the pads under the machine. Solution flows through the pads while the Cimex is running so the pads won't become overly soiled.

3. It's not a bad idea to rinse out the machine - especially if you don't plan to use it the next day. A little bit of remaining solution in the line os not a problem.

Enjoy your new Cimex! Welcome to the world of encapping!!! Smile
