First Cimex problem
#1
For some strange reason, my original Big Yella has started splashing solution around.

As I go down the carpet, I can see splash marks outside the perimeter of the cleaning path on the dry carpet.

If I work alongside a wall, it splashes up the wall about 2 inches.

WHY ?????

How do I fix it ????

RODNEYYYYYYY

Thank you all.

Sounds like your plumbing is getting plugged up. I know, I know, you clean it on a regular basis. Regardless of that, when it starts to fling solution, it's an indication that the head is at least partially plugged. Give it a vigorous cleaning to try to dislodge the mineral build-up and other crud that forms inside the head of the machine.

Follow these instructions...

P.S. And make sure that you NEVER NEVER NEVER use anything besides Releasit in your Cimex.   Tongue

Using Releasit will Release the problem?? Tongue

Ta Rick, hopefully get to it this arvo, otherwise the new machine goes in the van.

Aha, just realized, I have to go & do a report tomorrow up in Herberton, (up over the hill).

It's only about 60 miles, but takes two hours to get there.

We'll make a day of it, up there, do a report, drive back to Atherton for lunch, then a nice drive back down the Gillies Range.

Top of the Gillies is where I busted me leg when I fell off me stationary Suzuki Virago 1100, 19 years ago last month. Big Grin

That's it, thanks again, gotta get to work.

Worked out what happened.

When I got my 2nd Cimex, Old Original went in the shed.

Had a solution line problem with the new one, so just swapped machines.

OO had been sitting idle for some time, hence the build up.

Simple fix. ?

Yes, it's a simple fix. Just follow the instructions in the PDF. You may have to repeat the process a couple of times in succession to get it fully cleared and flowing freely again.
