Bit of a long shot.

Hi

Looking for a bit of help. I'm a Uk carpet cleaner who recently purchased a very very old cimex r38, so old its grey instead of yellow, obviously it needs a bit of tlc. I've managed to find most of the parts needed except one, the water valve connected to the handle. Truvox the manufacturers say parts for this machine are discontinued so does anyone have any ideas where I may get my hands on one.

Pic below.

Many thanks for looking.

Regards Eddie

If any anyone can help call excellent supply service. They handle cimex machines if they can't get you the part you might just have to get it made by a machine shop.

Parts for that machine are obsolete. But I think you could fairly easily install a new Cimex tank, along with the waterfeed assembly and solution lever. It would require a little bit of modification, but should be doable. In fact you could probably rig a standard floor machine shampoo tank to fit onto that old machine.

my old cimex machines have valves like that. One of them has two ganged together (dual feed solution) but I only use one feed. I'll see if it can separate . If so, you can have it.
I thought my old machine was rough. A little TLC and it can be good as new.. photo is the first time we did carpet cleaning with a cimex using a sample Rick sent. oh my...Red pads Smile
