Hydrox Uph/foam

I cleaned a couch last night with Hydrox 8in microfiber bonnet and a polishing tool. I was not seeing any foam as I was cleaning but I did not want to overwet the fabric. I was wondering if I should have sprayed enough solution to see foam as I was cleaning? ps-I used 10 oz per gl.

It's not necessary to see foam. Often, little or no foam will occur, when the detergent is directly sprayed onto the surface being cleaned.
