Congratulations Rick, it's looking very pleasing to the old eyes.

Colors are very easy to read for me.

I really like that you have kept the "Old EncapBoard Archive".

One constructive criticism thing, the Aussie board is no longer in existence, so you may want to delete that link.

James Bethel has done wonders with his Facebook page for Aussie carpet cleaners, although I do miss the stack of information lost when Col Foster closed the old board down.

Problems have arisen for me with Fb, due to getting a virus via Messenger.

Have not been able to access my account for about a month now, nor my three businesses on Facebook.

Something to think about.

Col did a marvelous job with the Aussie Carpet Cleaners Forum from it's first inception, then closing, then, like a Phoenix, it arose from the ashes once more to be very good over many years..

Heading out now for New Years Eve celebration, so Delia & I would like to wish everyone here a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year & thanks for having us down-underers on board.

Delia & Shorty.

Thanks for the comments regarding the new forum!

I'll get the Aussie forum link removed. Sad to see that one gone. Another good board asphyxiated by FB.

As Shorty mentioned above. The old EncapBoard is a cool resource. It spanned a decade. Those were the early years of encap, so the stuff on that forum is gold. It's fun to go back and look at some of the old posts from the early adopters of encap... https://forum.excellent-supply.com/Forum/

Rick, I smile to myself when I re-read some of these posts and remember all of the very negative & expletive replies we would get from "traditional" carpet cleaners.

I must admit, that I also was a "traditional" carpet cleaner up until the time I met you & Big Yella, in the ballroom of the old Riviera Casino at Connections in October, 2004.

( Is it really only that long ago?? It seems that I've been using Big Yella for so much longer).

We were the unwashed, the unholiest of them all.

We were the dirt smearers, the dirt jigglers, the con artists of "scampooers".

We were the Devil's Advocate.

My oh my, how things have changed. :-) :-) :-)

Now, a similar machine can be found on nearly every other carpet cleaners vehicle, worldwide.

Plenty of really good information ( & laughs ), on the "Old Archives".

Cheers all,

Shortwun from Down Under.

Yes to all you said. And Shorty looking back at the earliest posts - you were here from the beginning. It's been good knowing you all these years! Encap has come a long way. It just had to! Encap had too much potential for it not to catch on. And there's still more room for future growth. So on to the future. We plan to be here continuing to gently nudge a resolute industry wherever we can. And I sure hope you'll be along for the ride for many more years to come too! :-)
