Benefect w/ encap?
#1
Hello!

Before moving into using your encap products we had been offering a package to our customers a package that included both a treatment for allergens as well as a bactericide/virucide/sanitizer for those with bad allergies or prone to sickness. We would also use this in conjunction with deodorizer on pet odor situations. The product we were using was microban (I believe now mediclean) but found out that that hurts the polymers with the encap solution.

We really like odorcide from ya'll to take care of those odors but still want to offer a nice virus killer/sanitizer (We never say that we can totally sanitize carpet however!) For this we were interested in Benefect/Decon30. Their main ingredient being derived from Thyme oil we like as we try to sell a more hypo-allergenic approach.

Didn't know if any of you knew if these products would have a negative effect on your encap products or would it be okay to use as a post spray. Or is there anything else you would recommend?

Thanks for the tips!

Interesting idea. We haven't tested Releasit with Benefect so I'm not able to comment on it. Releasit's crystalizing polymer is sensitive to adding other chems to the mix, so I'm reluctant to say yes.  We know that Odorcide works well with Releasit - since it's totally compatible with Releasit's encap polymer package. At this point I'm not sure about how Benefect would affect the encap process. Thank you for asking about it though. It's something we'd have to do further research on.

Thanks for the reply! We'll try testing it as a post spray and see if there is any noticeable difference.
