Dust Mites and allergies

I use CRB with DS2 or Hydrox to clean carpet, customers are very satisfied with the cleaning. Sometimes customers ask to remove dust mites and allergies, can I use vaporized steam after I am done with carpet cleaning, like from Dupray or other steam systems to kill dust mites and allergies?

I am not familiar with using steam vapor to kill dust mites. But it seems like it might be an idea worth exploring. Please let us know what you discover.
