Noisy Cimex
#1
I've noticed that my Cimex is now noisier than when I first bought it.

Might it need 2 bearings (part # 02‐4020‐0000) replaced??

Cheers,

Shortwun.

Hi Shorty
Yes, when an elderly Cimex starts to grumble, it usually means it's time for new bearings. Now wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple for elderly carpet cleaners too? ;-)

Turned 75 last March.

Slowing down, only doing six days a week now.

Trying to catch up to Ray (Rambo) Moody. Big Grin Big Grin

It was his Birthday back on the 28th of June.

I still enjoy what I do & at this point in time, I'm still able to do what I enjoy.

So why stop??

Stop moving, start dying, is something that has struck me as I've gotten older.

I have 2 mates left my age, all the rest have fallen off of their perch.

They took retirement or redundancy, sat at home & watched the idiot box, six months later, I was attending their funeral.

So it looks like the forums are stuck with me for a while yet.

Take care over there Buddy.

At 75 and still cleaning 6 days a wek - that's remarkable!
I agree with the idea of staying active. Our bodies were created to MOVE.
It's great to hear that you're still active and going strong. Stay healthy! Smile
