So now the Shark infomercial guy is getting into encap! I do own a Shark bagless "no loss of suction" vac for home use and I love it, but I just saw his new Sonic Duo commercial this weekend. It's a nice looking little unit for a home owner and I think it's kind of cool to see the encap theory get some national attention and I like the guy. He reminds me of Millhouse from the Simpsons.

What took them so long? The simpler the system the easier to duplicate for the home owner. I guess it is great for those who like to clean their own carpets

I watched the video. That thing is really cool. Probably the neatest carpet cleaning tool for the home owner I have seen.
I wouldn't mind having one that was tough enough for everyday commercial use.

I agree! I saw the commercial the other day and thought, that thing would be cool for stairs/touch ups?
We'll see how it holds up over time?
