I replaced the solution tank because it was cracking from where it sits on the tiny piece of flat steel that has the upright piece that locates into the base of the tank to hold it in position.

This has happened several times and each time I have had it welded up.

Thought I'd try a new tank, get the old one repaired and thus have a spare for when/if, it happens again.

Here's how I widened the bottle holder.

Guess I should treat & paint it all Blush

With the bottle in.

That is a small wand that I just use for small carpet jobs behind the 'borg; on the wall, also there, (hidden) is a Hugger stair tool, & two drape/curtain tools.

On the side wall is my 40" stair tool.

I replaced the orbot flimsy handle hinge clips with a homemade-super strong-stair ready idea.

bottom plate is threaded to receive the 5/16"-18x3/4" winged nut.

Nice MD!

HOS has new and improved clips out now. They are pricey but worth it imo.

I replaced the clips about a year ago with the screw knobs that they're using now. No problems since then.

As far as the jug with the SprayBorg goes, I can get the bottle out very easily if the handle is tilted back a notch.

I never use my Spray Borg. I find the cimex cleans a lot better. Some say it should clean as well as a cimex. What is the trick?

there is no trick! you cannot get Cimex results, so sell me your orbot for a few hundred dollars Smile

Do you have the weight kit? I found it made a huge difference. What pad/bonnet are you using?

Different strokes for different folks.

Machines are no different.

What are you doing with the Sprayborg??

Padding or encapping??

PERSONALLY, I do not think the Sprayborg will clean as well as the Cimex if encapping with pads.

Feel welcome to disagree.

Padding, it's a different story and for different reasons.

This is true. Orbot is a padding machine, Cimex seems to be the encap machine.

"This is true. Orbot is a padding machine, Cimex seems to be the encap machine. "

Err, sorry, this is NOT quite true, (in my opinion), but very close. Big Grin

The Orbot can run pads as well as bonnets.

Hence you can encap with an Orbot/Sprayborg, whichever one you have by using the larger pads.

Or you can bonnet clean using bonnets.

The Cimex (I believe) works best when encapping, with the smaller FiberPlus or Fiberplus Max pads, depending on the situation at hand.

http://www.excellent-supply.com/FiberPlu..._p_88.html

Although I have read plenty of times about people using the small 8" bonnets under their Cimex, I still have not tried them.

When I get a situation where I need the bonnets, out comes the Sprayborg.

It's nice to carry both machines in the van just for "whenever".

It's also very handy when you have a larger job and the trouble 'n strife, (or She Who Must Be Obeyed), can get behind one of them and help out. TongueBlush

What I'm saying is that the Orbot is a better padding machine and the Cimex the superior encapping machine.
