Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - TheCleaningDude - 07-22-2013 What's your ideal commercial floor cleaning equipment and accessory list? What would you include in order to clean most any type of floors? Floor types being in most important order: 1. Carpet 2. Tile and grout 3. Wood/laminate 4. VCT RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - leofry@1966 - 07-22-2013 1. Carpet = cimex + DS2 2. Tile and Grout = SX12+ PROCON TILE AND GROUT CLEANER I don't offer the other two cleaning services simple is better to me.. RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - Jamie - 07-22-2013 Agree with Leo Carpet with Cimex + DS2 any day of the week. But I would also add Punch for the traffic areas. Cheers Jamie RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - ebarnett - 07-22-2013 Here's what I have. Pretty happy with most of it: 1. Carpet: 19" Cimex (excellent) Hos Orbot Spayborg (excellent) Penguin cordless sprayer (excellent) Certified Pile Brush (good) Mytee speedster portable extractor (ok) Rotovac powerwand (ok) 2. Tile and grout Cimex with tile brushes and weight kit (good) Hyroforce sx12 spinner (excellent) Cleanstorm 1200 psi extractor (good) 3. Wood/laminate (I dont service except to scrub in commercial settings) 4. VCT 21" pioneer eclipse buffer (excellent) 21" eagle buffer (good) 20" viper auto scrubber (good) 24" onyx propane tri strip (excellent) Viper shovelnose wet vac (excellent) Cimex with strip pads and weight kit (good - strip brushes would be excellent) As you can see, the cimex is playing an important role in a lot of my work RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - Hoss - 07-23-2013 Orbot with weight kit and tile brush. Micro-Orbot. Steamin Demon. Oreck 550. Backpack Vacuum. Oreck Vacuum. With the obligatory chemicals, racks, mops and attitude - all surfaces, all sizes of projects can be managed. What are you using the LTD5 for? Strictly carpet? Is the Air Hog/Water Otter for tile and grout? Is it the basic Air Hog? How are you liking the set up? I also use cimex plus DS2 for carpet and Cimex with tile brushes and weight kit for tiles. RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - CleaningConcierge - 07-24-2013 Speedster is the back up. Air hog is basic, single vac model. It is a good little machine. Use it for T&G and water extractions in hard to reach areas or when I am too tired to pull out the LTD 5. Air hog/water otter - good...setup time is the killer with hooking up water hose and drain hose...gets the job done Ltd 5 carpet mostly but I will use it for t & g. Its a beast for a porty auto dump/fill are a must on a porty. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4 Beta RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - TheCleaningDude - 07-24-2013 Cool. I know you do mostly commercial. Is the Hog and Otter able to take on tough tile and grout? How does it do on carpet in terms of dry times? Thanks (07-24-2013, 07:44 AM)CleaningConcierge Wrote: Speedster is the back up. RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - ebarnett - 07-24-2013 Yes the cleanstorm is the same as the sandia. I like it ok. Just too many hoses and cords!!! I would much rather have a truckmount for tile and grout. RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - David-Hebert - 07-25-2013 we have 3 Steamin Demons 2 Cross American Extractors and Booster 1 Orbot 5 Buffers One of them is made to do wood only one is for stone. 1 Viper wet pick up vac 1 auto scrubber 1 gas power washer up to 3000 psi 1 generator 8000 running watts another on its way CRB Master Blend Floor fans and air path type fans Id would have to go and count lots of various types wands and other tools for doing T&G stone wood RE: Building Your Commercial Cleaning War Chest.... - TheCleaningDude - 07-25-2013 Great answers. Do any of you feel that not owning a TM has been a hindrance to your business? Again, speaking strictly commercial.... |
