This is what I use to clean steps.
I keep it secure in a tool box.
Pre-spray steps and risers first, or just pre-spray risers.
Go up stairs using long handle cleaning risers.
Get to top and replace long handle with short handle.
Pre-spray treads, then clean treads coming back down.
Very easy on an old back.
Sometimes when they're really trashed I may have to resort to an extraction clean AFTER the Micro, then I will use this, (copied from an album, but I have the same tool.
For upholstery, I use a Makita variable speed polisher, again, sometimes, I may need to resort to hwe after scrubbing.
Another copy, but I have the same and also keep it in a Stanly tool box the same as the Micro Hos
For my extraction, I use this little porty, only a 100psi, but a very powerful vac; motor.
Preferred upholstery tools are HydroKinetic & Sapphire.
Hope this helps.
Shortwun.
PS::: I'm also going to try something different for those tight little areas on upholstery.
A microfiber cloth on a very small Black & Decker "Mouse", which is a small palm held orbital sander.
PPS::::: Whatever you choose to clean, ALWAYS read the label first.
I know this will be hard for men to comprehend.
