What you've described is caused by a blockage in your Cimex plumbing. Your Cimex Plumbing should be cleaned out on a regular basis. Here is a PDF file showing how to do it.

It's also a good idea to empty the machine if it won't be used the next day. And if you're planning to store the machine for more than a few of days, it's good to run some hot water through the machine to keep the system flushed out.
