Yes a 175 rotary will do the job, but I think the OP machine (Lowboy SWK or Orbot) is a better scrubber and definitely easier on the old body. Think about it....if you were to scrub a spot on a carpet by hand with a terry cloth, would you just scrub it in one direction? No, you would "shake it' back and forth and hit it from different angles which is more like what you are getting with an OP scrubbing pattern.
