There are a couple of industry forums that are still running, yet not at the level of the forums in the early 2000's.
We will leave this forum up as a reference. Feel free to explore the world of encapsulation by performing searches (in this forum and in the archived forum).
We're excited to announce the NEW Excellent Supply website. We had been on our old shopping cart platform for about a decade. We updated the site along the way. But the back-end was getting a little bit tired and creaky (kinda like me sometimes).

Migrating a shopping cart with thousands of customers, thousands of orders, and hundreds of products is a major task, so I put it off, probably for longer than I should have. In fact, now that we have a shiny new cart, I can say with certainty, I should have done this a long time ago!

For the past few weeks, we've poured a ton of time and energy into this project. But I think it was worth all the effort. The new site is cleaner, it's easier to search fr items, tracking orders is much nicer, and our EncapCash Rewards program is easier than ever to work with.

The new Excellent Supply website will make it easier for our customers to quickly find the products they're looking for. As you now shop for encap products you'll find what you're looking for faster. And we will continue to introduce more helpful content to assist with commercial carpet cleaning, particularly with the encapsulation cleaning method.

Here's a video that shows some of the cool new features.

With the later model solution tank, Houston, I have a problem.

The brass valve that is inserted into the base of the tank, becomes very thin over time.

This then starts to leak as it is cracking finely.

When trying to undue the Shut-off valve, the brass piece finally broke.

I then had to replace the shut-off valve also, as the brass threads were jammed inside.

I was able to squeeze the brass down with my fingers, that’s how thin it got.

LUCKILY, I had a spare tank as it’s IMPOSSIBLE to remove the threaded brass from inside the solution tank.

Glued into the base of the tank is a hex; nut.

The brass “valve”, which is basically a hollow brass pipe which is threaded on the exterior.

This screws into the hex; nut & appears to have been glued in with some substance.

Trying to remove the “valve” will result in more crushing of said “valve”, thereby making a complete tank replacement necessary.

There are then two more hex; nuts screwed onto onto this before it is screwed into the shut-off valve.

I never had this problem with my originCimex tank, only the Trevox tank.

Any solution??

Hi all, not sure if I've posted these before, anyhow, some newbies that own a Cimex may not have seen them.

In the past week, I've had two people contact me about a problem with their solution tank leaking.

I myself have had the same problem & decided to do something positive about it.

My Old Cimex is an original one, made in the U.K. which I have modified a little bit.

Today, the mod; will be confined to the small metal bracket that (supposedly), supports the solution tank.

I had a new one made up which I fitted & took photos as I was installing the set-up.

All self explanatory, I hope this benefits someone in some small way.
