We do 99.9 percent residential carpet & tile cleaning. A realty company that sends us many jobs for years asked us to clean their conference room, I said ok, no problem. Well 2 days after the cleaning a large stain appeared that was not there prior to us cleaning. I went back and re-cleaned that area, next day stain is back again! After 3 attempts at this and a little embarrassed to explain this situation to the office that has been calling me the carpet cleaning god for the last ten years, I knew I had to fix this quick. So on the internet I go and stumbled on excellent supply.
I ordered a quart of the Releasit spotter and had it shipped overnight. I went in and misted the stain with the product and brushed it in. I blotted with white towels and put a fan on it. The stain disappeared and I checked on it a few days later and I was relieved that it stayed away! I am truly grateful that I found this product and these very nice folks that even sent me a nice sample pack a few days later.
Great people, great products, great service! Great job Excellent Supply! I will be reordering in the future.
Since many customers are new to encapsulation, and ask about spill stains and wicking, I thought it would be good to post this again and get your feedback on how this process works for you!
I have noticed lately that more Pro Carpet Cleaners on the phone here at ES are interested in using more Vlm/Encap cleaning methods in residential carpet cleaning. The interest seems to be in using this method in conjunction with HWE (Prespary with Encap-Punch, extract main traffic areas and just scrub the rest) or sometimes as a stand alone method.
Adding Counter Rotating Brush machines or orbital/bonnet along with good Encap Cleaners like Releasit seems to be the preferred way to do VLM in Resi.
The reasons seem to vary... High rise condos out of Truckmount reach, extremely cold weather, quick drying times, low overhead etc...
Have any of you seen this as a trend or viable option in your world?
I was thinking of starting to use fiber plus pads for residential carpet cleaning instead to microfiber on my orbiter machine. One thing I noticed is the larger fiber pads do not seem to wear as well on the orbiter as the smaller ones do on the cimex? Am I just trying to make things to easier and simpler by not having to worry about changing and washing pads constantly or as with commercial carpet there is not much the fiber pads won't handle. Thanks!
i use to wait until the pad got pretty thin but it seems like the pads are kinda falling apart and leaving fuzz balls, do you change from job to job or wait until
I believe that one is only limited by one's imagination.
When I look at new (& my old) equipment, I constantly think of how i can improve these items.
This is my latest addition to my Big Yella.
Living in the tropics, much of my commercial work is done after hours and with NO AIR CONDITIONING ON.!!!!
So today, I saw & purchased, this Ryobi BATTERY OPERATED fan.
Battery will last up to 16 hours, &, if I am doing spot work, I can use it plugged into a GPO, (power outlet).
There is also another model which can mist water via the fan, but this cannot be used with the electricity supply, is larger & slightly heavier & I would also need to mount a 1/2 gallon water bottle on Big Yella, so not really suitable for me.
It is held on with a simply bungee cord, (color coded to match the tank), which makes for K.I.S.S. removal when filling the solution tank.
Just ordered two x 18amp batteries & charger as they do not come with the fan.
Why two batteries?? so one can be on charge should I need it. Lord Baden Powell taught me "Be Prepared".
