  Water stains
Posted by: cleanclub77 - 07-27-2018, 07:40 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

I learned today that our new client has @ 8-10 more office rooms that is water stained also from a leaking roof. I was wondering should I extract
carpet first then cimex it with hy-drox only to remove stains.

I have a new client that I'm trying to impress. They have a hallway and two offices of glued down carpet (olefin) that have water stains through-out.
Stains have been there a long time. What would be the best way to handle this situation and wow the client? I have a cimex and a portable extractor.
Help!! Thanks in advance.

  I need a OP machine!
Posted by: BMan - 07-15-2018, 02:27 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

RHello everyone, I am new here. I am a low moisture cleaner and I am looking to switch over to a OP machine from a 175. I love the value in buying a great used piece of equipment. If anyone is looking to sell one please let me know. Thanks!

  Cimex weight?
Posted by: KC-Chris - 07-15-2018, 10:53 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

I currently use the HOS Orbot Sprayborg for all my cleaning. It's pretty heavy but I can manage loading/ unloading into my minivan especially since I can fold it down. How much does the cimex weigh and does it fold down? Do you feel it's easy to transport?

  Coffee spot....

How would you handle this coffee spot?

Should i extract and then speed dry with a bonnet? It is a cgd carpet...needle felt carpet with often wick back problems.

  A Long Lost Friend

A very Happy Birthday to one of the most wonderful carpet cleaners I have never met, although I am sure many of the older members will have.

Ray (Rambo) Moody of McDonough, Georgia, turned 82 today.

Wishing you all the very best my friend.

You have been an inspiration to me for many years, even though (sadly), we have never met.

May you have many, many, more wonderful years ahead of you Rambo.

  CRB steps
Posted by: KC-Chris - 06-05-2018, 11:07 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

I saw a post earlier about CRB process but I would like to get additional info on the steps. My thought was to vacuum or CRB dry first, then prespray with punch, dwell 5-10 minutes. After dwell time, do I use DS2 or Hydro with the collection cans on my CRB or will using just the punch be enough? Thanks all!

Was wondering the best order of cleaning a carpet with a crb and orbot? Would it be CRB dry followed by reg vacuum then Orbot and then CRB again on cut pile to leave it standing up??
