  Moving on
Posted by: Lounge Lizards - 01-17-2019, 01:45 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

Just letting people know that I have left the commercial carpet cleaners page of my own volition.

Time, & memory, is against me with so many pages to look at, so I am cutting down on many items to view daily.

This relates to Facebook pages as well as some forums relating to the industry that I am currently involved in.

Hence, I shall be posting ever fewer as the months go by.

This may also mean that I may NOT be responding to many questions, especially messages.

No hard feelings towards anyone, just a personal decision of my own THAT WILL NOT BE CHANGED.

YES, I am, & always will be, a stubborn (old) bastard.

  Where does the dirt go?
Posted by: encapman - 01-14-2019, 06:38 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

Where does the dirt go? Have you ever wondered that about encap cleaning? Have you ever been asked and felt you didn't have an answer that makes sense. This short video explains the encap process. It explains where the dirt goes, how the carpet looks good - even before post-vacuuming has been performed, and how the soil gets recovered from the carpet.

  Encap-Punch
Posted by: encapman - 12-24-2018, 02:21 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

Sometimes people wonder where and when to use Encap-Punch. Encap-Punch is our CRI approved Encap Pre-Spray. And since it's a true encap detergent, built around an encap polymer, it crystallizes beautifully. In addition to using Encap-Punch as a traffic lane pre-spray, it can be also used be used as an encap HWE rinse detergent, and as an encap bonnet/pad cleaner. This short video explains how it works.

  Benefect w/ encap?
Posted by: ctucker - 11-02-2018, 09:15 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

Hello!

Before moving into using your encap products we had been offering a package to our customers a package that included both a treatment for allergens as well as a bactericide/virucide/sanitizer for those with bad allergies or prone to sickness. We would also use this in conjunction with deodorizer on pet odor situations. The product we were using was microban (I believe now mediclean) but found out that that hurts the polymers with the encap solution.

We really like odorcide from ya'll to take care of those odors but still want to offer a nice virus killer/sanitizer (We never say that we can totally sanitize carpet however!) For this we were interested in Benefect/Decon30. Their main ingredient being derived from Thyme oil we like as we try to sell a more hypo-allergenic approach.

Didn't know if any of you knew if these products would have a negative effect on your encap products or would it be okay to use as a post spray. Or is there anything else you would recommend?

Thanks for the tips!

encap vs extraction for deep coffee stain
Posted by: mark63 - 10-29-2018, 10:02 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

I'm doing a 911 call center and there is a spot on the cgd carpet (in the main entrance) where they spilled a pot!!! of coffee. I'm going to encap with a cimex but was wondering if i should just use O2 encap were that coffee spot is or bring my portable 200psi extractor and flush it out the best I can?
If I flush out i don't think I can encap after because it would be to wet, also if I extract should I prespray with O2 first? Ps, the city cleaners said they tried various methods to get this out with no success. Thanks.

  Odor after Hydrox
Posted by: MSI - 10-24-2018, 12:27 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

I CIMEX'd a doctor's office last night with Hydrox, a hydrogen peroxide solution by Releasit (Excellent Supply), for removing brown haze after encapping Saturday with Releasit DS2 & Encap Punch.  Had a rain storm so dry time was extended.  It's dry now, just got a call from Office manager complaining of odor.  Any suggestion(s) for neutralizing odors after carpet's dry?   Thanks, I'm in a bind!

  NEW softer Drill Brush
Posted by: encapman - 10-14-2018, 07:59 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

We've just brought on a new softer variant of the Rota-Brush. We're calling it the Rota-Brush PLUSH. Our original Rota-Brush was great for upholstery and carpet spotting, but it required breaking-in because the bristles were just a little bit too firm. The original brush has been popular for high production upholstery work and encap spotting. These new PLUSH brushes have a thinner denier and are spot-on for upholstery, without breaking-in the brush first. We have them currently on sale for $18. Here's a link to their page on our site. https://www.excellent-supply.com/Rota-Br..._1133.html
