  Residential Cleaning

Have any of you tried using Cimex on Nylon Pile. Curious if it came out crispy or soft? Thoughts?

  Punch

I didn't catch the name of the guy I spoke with on the phone at Excellent Supply today but he was extremely helpful and I appreciate it.

I use Excellent Supply products for encapping with my Cimex. I have some residential hwe to do and I would like to try out Punch as my presray and rinse. The Punch I have is old, probably 4-5 years of sitting in my garage at the back of the shelf. I don't know why I got out of the habit of using it but I haven't been cleaning as much since I started teaching school again. Anyhow, I don't want to throw it away. I understand that I can shake it up and it will be usable but not normal strength. I have two questions:

How much extra should I bump up the mix ratio for moderate to heavily soiling?

For you guys that do HWE as well as straight encap, do you normally prespray with Punch or use some other product (Rick, I hope you don't mind my asking) Smile

Thanks for any suggestions.

Kenny Wright

  Stripping

I haven't tried this before but if you stripped with your Cimix how was it compared to a regular 175?

  Cotton fabric

In a couple weeks, I have a job that involves furniture with older cotton white and blue striped fabric. I will use a bucket to mix up/whip up some Hydrox to be applied with a horsehair brush and the vacuum after drying. What Hydrox to water ratio should I use?

  Hurricane Irma

Just wanted to let you all know that we got through hurricane Irma with minimal damage. It was only a category 1 hurricane in our area. All of our employees, their property, and all our dear friends are OK.

Part of a tree came down in front of Excellent Supply.  No damage to our building. No flooding. We were without power all day yesterday. Today we have power and Internet access. But no phone service yet.

So we are currently back up and running. FedEx Ground service will do a pick up today. We have deliveries of products coming in. Our online store is running. And we can communicate with you via email. Best of all, the air conditioner is on!  Smile

No Experience and No Current Company Backing.... ???
Posted by: SS3PBM - 09-11-2017, 10:30 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

Hello all,

I have tried to get my company to go the 'Encap' route for several years now without any success.

Now I think it is time for me to go out on my own with this process!

Caveat:

How or who can I contact for training on this? Training time frame six months, nine months or???

What is the minimum investment and/or minimum equipment suggested to consider in order to get started?

Anything else I need to consider in this move? It would be me to start, alone.

I will be moving soon and can take the skills and equipment with me, too!

TIA - SamuelS

Cleaned today 6500 sq./fts office with different food spots. Tried Punch with the pre spray dillution on a heavy salad dressing spot. Agitated with my CRB and cleaned with my Orbot with DS2 and 6 oz per gallone... you can see the results in the pictures below.... Big Grin

  Starting Fresh

Hello All,
I looking for some opinions and insight from your expertise. I use to clean carpets and upholstery on a part-time basis as a one man show but had to shut down because my fulltime career would interfere with schedule jobs and being able to keep appointments due to mandatory overtime.

Things have changed and I’m looking to start cleaning again and possibly doing it fulltime. I have Von Schrader equipment. I recently ordered Releasit Encap-Clean DS2 and used it in my Von Schrader LMX and it worked like a champ. It foamed real nice and I was impressed with its cleaning power. I also used Encap Punch for a pre-spray and the used the LMX to agitate it in the carpet.

I want to add equipment but have limited funds. I am looking to add a CRB and an OP machine like the ORBOT VIBE or the VARIO from excellent supply at some point. My question is, which would you add first? The CRB or the OP machine and why? I will be concentrating on Residential initially and expanding to commercial. Thanks in advance for your replies.

  Forum Update
Posted by: encapman - 09-04-2017, 07:40 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

We performed a couple of maintenance updates last night to the EncapBoard. It should be a bit more responsive now. And hopefully this will correct the bandwidth bottleneck problems we had been experiencing too.

While we were in upgrade mode, I went ahead and freshened up the site logo and background color too (there's an A-B comparison below). Hope you enjoy the new and improved EncapBoard. Smile
