Just wanted to say thank you for the Spotz Brush kit.
Looks like a great tool and I look forward to wiping out some spots on a number of my accounts with it!
Thanks Again!

  Cat Urine
Posted by: KC-Chris - 06-12-2017, 04:27 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

Need some advice. Coming up on a large residential job this Saturday the 17th. My available tools are HOS Orbot, CRB Machine, Gecko Spot/Upholstery machine and water claw that I can attach to a shop vac. Customer has medium to dark brown carpet throughout and specialty carpet (leopard print--dark) in the movie room. The general look of the carpet is not bad at all. However, under the black light, she has several cat urine stains in several areas including the leopard print carpet. I am thinking Punch for traffic lanes and DS2 for the overall encap. Is that a good combo? And how do I tackle the cat urine? Same releasit products as above and extract with water-claw? Thanks all!

  Fiber Plus or Max Pads...
Posted by: Bernd - 06-09-2017, 04:59 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

I clean many needle punch carpets here in oversea and normally use the regular VCT Pads for straight encapping and some SuperZorbs or MF Pads on some heavy traffic lanes...but the VCT Pads only last 1000 - 2000 sq/fts- and thats to expensive!

Now i have the opportunity to get the Fiber Plus and Max Pads and would be interested if they last any longer cause they are three times as expensive as the regular VCT pads!

How is your experience?

Tips and suggestions for upholstery cleaning
Posted by: KC-Chris - 06-07-2017, 12:15 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

Hey All,
I have the Gecko Spot and Upholstery machine in my arsenal. I want to start up-selling upholstery cleaning jobs while doing carpet. Can you give me your tips and advice for the up-sell? Also, what are the steps to clean upholstery? Pre-vac? Pre-spray (what do I use) then extract? Any upholstery material I should stay away from? What expectations do I set with my customers as far as dry-time and results? As always, I appreciate the help and feedback for this newbie! Thanks!

  Cleaning steps...
Posted by: Bernd - 05-31-2017, 04:43 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

Next week i have to clean 50 steps and i would be interested if anybody tried to use the small CRB on it?! I have a larger and the smaller one.

I have read that many of you use the Oreck...but it is not availble for me here in Germany.

I have a orbital car polisher but it takes to long so i am looking for a faster way to clean steps...

Would be great to get some advice if anybody has experience with cleaning steps with a CRB and would share his processSmile

  CRB brushes

What is the best way to keep my CRB brushes clean? I clean the machine after each use but need some ideas to keep the brushes kept up and cleaned. Thanks all!

  Trade Show?
Posted by: KC-Chris - 05-15-2017, 10:05 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

I'm thinking about attending a trade show later this year in Vegas. Right now it looks like there are two in September. The Experience sept. 6-8 and the ISSA/Interclean the next week, sept. 11-14. I'm new to this industry and have never been to a trade show/convention. What would you all recommend? The Experience or the ISSA? Pros/cons? Is it worth it? Thanks all!

  Flotex Carpeting?
Posted by: cleanerguy - 05-14-2017, 12:40 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (11)

Has anyone tried encapping this carpeting?

There are some architects in my area who have been installing it in school and businesses.
I tried the Cimex on it with a pad and it was barely moving and sticking, almost like velcro.
I was thinking of trying a tuway or bonnet on it instead.

Here is there site, http://www.forbo.com/flooring/en-uk/insp...tex/p6gc7x

Thanks
