  Experience Show
Posted by: encapman - 04-24-2017, 06:10 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

The Experience Show starts in Clearwater Beach today. It should be a fun event. Trade show events always yield some new idea or nuggets of information. We will have a few special offers for attendees, so stop by our booth and say hi.  http://www.experiencetheevents.com/texp_conf.html

  Chart for BrushEncap, Help
Posted by: encapman - 04-21-2017, 11:41 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

Rich Gallina posted this message earlier. But for some reason there was a glitch in that post which disabled replying to the thread. The glitch is very weird (I think his post might have had a failed attachment). I've deleted his prior post. But here's a copy and paste from that original post...

One of my bearings seized up and literally melted one of my brushes to the plastic piece on the side where you stick the pin for the brush through. The Manual isn't really clear but I need the whole assembly. This piece is accessed when you take the brushes off and has three little screws. I need the cap (stainless steel), the bearing and the Plastic piece that goes inside.

I use this CRB everyday and I need to get these parts out to me quickly. Can someone help me with these parts. If you have a clear image chart it would help me out. Ty

  CRB for tile?
Posted by: KC-Chris - 04-18-2017, 09:42 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

Purchased a 15in CRB from Excellent Supply a few months back...love it by the way. Can the CRB be used for tile jobs? If so, what steps and spray would I need? If not, what is good portable tile cleaning machine to add to the arsenal? I do have a HOS Orbot and I know I can get the scrub brush attachment, is it worth it and any feedback on the HOS Orbot for tile jobs? Thanks all!

  MicroBeast Bonnets
Posted by: encapman - 04-17-2017, 07:44 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

Let's get some discussion going on the MicroBeast Pro Scrub bonnets. How do you like them? What other bonnets / pads are you using?

  Storing used bonnets

Just wondering what VLM cleaners use to store there used Bonnets in so the truck doesn't start smelling in the summer?

  Nasty office carpet
Posted by: Bernd - 03-28-2017, 05:56 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

I got a inquiry to clean a nasty old cgd office carpet with heavy traffic lanes. The carpet has a light colour. I will do a demo to see what i can do for the customer.

My normal process would be pre spraying with Punch and cleaning with DS2. But i have read that some guys prefer HydrOx for the nasty ones...Normally i only use HydrOx for pre spotting coffee stains etc and clean with DS2 and/or Punch.

When would you use HydrOx instead of the Punch/DS2 combo on nasty carpets?

  Chord for CRB
Posted by: richgallina - 03-18-2017, 09:14 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

What size is the chord 12/3 - 10/3 for the 15 CRB and also how much is a new one. My van was robbed and that's one of the things that went missing.

Also, I was cleaning a commercial carpet and theres a plastic hex like nut that you put the brush pin through. It actually fused the brush to that that nut from friction. Has anyone ever encountered this? I think the end (plastic piece) may of popped out some then rubbed that nut. Weird!

  Adding Porty to VLM setup
Posted by: Kron1 - 03-18-2017, 02:58 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (9)

We have primarily been a commercial carpet cleaning company. When I needed HWE my nephew brought in his truckmount.

Now that we will be doing more residential carpet I want to add a portable extractor.

The Steamin Demon looks like a lightweight easy to operate machine. My concerns are with it needing a contentious water supply and faucet connections. Would this tool be a good purchase today since most newer homes do not have the older style faucet threading?

Should I stick with a conventional Porty?

My process will be:

1. CRB without trays
2. Prevac
3. Prespray and agitate with Cimex or ECO 17 or CRB
4. Extract
5. Groom

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
