Thanx Tanoah & Rick Smile

this newer handle design looks more comfy. i assumed they came in a set lol, i'll order a 2nd handle when i order more Punch in the coming weeks.

i like these new plumbing caps to, much sturdier than the semi-clear plastic ones i've been using.

tx again.

  I NEED A OP MACHINE

I need a new OP machine and was wondering if anyone had one for sale on here and wanted some input on which one is the best now. I currently have a cimex but need a encap machine to follow up with my HWE. any details will help

The moisture recovery is a part of the process. So then putting down carpet protector (soileze) its not a good idea to use the this machine. As some of protector will end up in recovery tank.

THOUGHTS?

Less For This, More For That?
Posted by: TheCleaningDude - 11-03-2012, 01:39 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (11)

From time to time I come across posts in which cleaners claim they charge less for VLM cleaning and more for HWE.

Why would a cleaner charge less for encap?

Seems to me that from a commercial clients perspective encapping offers some benefits that HWE cannot provide - again especially in a business setting.

Not trying to start a method debate (I don't think it matters much in this context), just want to figure out the reasoning behind the pricing.

We clean 2000 sqft of carpet at an exclusive racquet club. The carpet cleaned up great. There was just one red stain that wouldn't come out. I lightened up considerably but you can still see it. I went over it quite a bit with the Cimex. Would the Hydrox help with that?

  Hurricane Sandy UPS Delays

Sorry guys. But it looks like some of the orders that are in the UPS system heading to affected areas may take some extra time get there.

How are you guys preparing for what they're calling a monster storm? The largest tropical storm to hit the USA. For your northerners who are new to all this, as a born and raised Floridian, I can tell you that I've experienced a few tropical storms and hurricanes, and a Cat 1 is not so serious. But the storm surge is what they expect will cause the trouble. And the sheer size of this storm is also a big concern. It's huge! So I'm just hoping all of you will be safe! Let us hear how you're planning to ride this out. Be cautious. And enjoy your hurricane parties.

  Help! Pooling/Shading question
Posted by: CleanItGreen - 10-27-2012, 05:52 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (9)

I'm working on a huge 30k sq ft job and there are a few areas that show signs of pooling/shading. I'm 99% sure its not a stain, as I cleaned using my cimex and encap hydrox (and went back over it the next night with my procaps machine and bioencap to make sure it wasn't hydrox residue). I'm wondering if either a)going over the area again with the cimex and wet pads with no solution or b)going over it with an extractor will change it or, as I have seen in doing research about pooling, its just something that nothing can be done about. I'm already thinking that I will need to find a local carpet person to go in with me and explain that this isn't some damage that I have caused.

Has anyone else had a similar situation?
