  Scheduling and Reminder Software....
Posted by: TheCleaningDude - 11-27-2012, 03:25 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

What software are you using to send out reminder cards and the such?

Service Monster looks cool, but I'm not too keen on paying $50.00 a month. When I get bigger, sure, but not now.

  CRB machines
Posted by: BobF - 11-24-2012, 09:34 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

Has anyone had experience with the Nacecare Duplex machine? It looks like a very nice machine to me. I own a Sprint (Multiwash) and like its performance. I think the Duplex looks closer to the Sprint in design. How do these two machines compare to the Brush and Clean? RPMs on all three machines are different, with Duplex being fastest and B&C slower (Sprint in the middle). Sometimes, running the Sprint I think if the brushes were spinning just a little slower, they may dig in better. This, and the fact that B&C also picks up debris, moves me towards the B&C. Would appreciate comments on performance from anyone running these machines.

Is there such a thing as Anti-Allergen Encap Treatment?
Posted by: Jamie - 11-22-2012, 05:29 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

I know you can get Anti-Allergen pre-sprays & treatments for HWE but does such a thing exist for Encapping? Basically to assist sufferers of Asthma & Allergies.

Or is this just a silly question and HWE is the only way to really deal with this to remove as much of the dust particles as possible instead of encapsulating them and leaving those encapsulated particles behind to be breathed in until they can be removed with a vacuum?

Very interested if such a thing exists.

Cheers

Jamie

  Is cimex working properly?
Posted by: cleanclub77 - 11-21-2012, 11:41 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

I was wondering if my cimex was working properly. When I first squeeze the lever the solution don't come out right away. I have to wait about 5-10 seconds before the solution come out and when it does it come out a little too thick. Is this normal? I be looking for the light film so as not to over wet the carpet. Also left lines on last job. (is it the operator?) I'm still working on perfecting my cleaning performance with the cimex and releaseit products. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

i haven't tried this yet (it's out in the cold van A.T.M.), but i youtube'd it and couldn't find out how to do this. is it simple / fast, or is it a pain?

one reason i ask is to bring it in on really cold days/nights.

  Transport cart
Posted by: FloorCareMD - 11-21-2012, 12:18 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

Rick and everyone,

Any of you use a transport cart (janitor cart type)for the necessary supplies (gallon bottles; spray bottles; extra pads; cords; rags; gum spray; wet floor signs ; drinks, etc...) when doing larger carpet jobs? They make the job much easier, especially multi-floor buildings where you have to haul everything up elevators.

On one of our senior care home jobs, we use a cart and it works out great. We even place a lockable Rubbermaid box on it to lock the chems up as per a requirement in the nursing homes.
