I have just bought an orbital polishing machine that I intend using for stairs but as it is a polishing machine is uses the bonnets that you wrap around the drive plate. As I want it for carpet cleaning I am going to super glue Velcro to the drive board and would like to know what pads will fit to Velcro. Also it is only 110 w power so what pads will it be powerful enough to spin.

I mainly clean residential carpets and over the last few months have converted to encap cleaning from hwe. I have sold all of my large hwe machines and now just use a small extractor for spot treatments as I bonnet everything else. However I do need to use my hwe for cleaning stairs as my rotary is to big. I am now considering another machine for stair cleaning. I cant make up my mind between an Oreck orbiter or a small 10in crb machine. Is one better than the other and is there particular situation or type of carpet where one will perform better than the other? Any advice would be appreciated.

Got this buffer today for an upholstery job. I quickly attached some velcro to it to get me by. I knew it would not last but it limped me through a job. Now i need ideas on how to permanently attach. Thank you

I have been looking at getting a set of diamond blades for my cimex;since i have a few clients that want their epoxy removed from their floors due to age and damage. I noticed there is blue and yellow diamond blades as well as 28,18,and 12 segment types. Your description for all of them is almost the same. What is the difference between the 2 colors and the number of segments?

I have started using a rotary recently and have started to sell of my hwe machines as I am not using them as much. Should I keep one for stain removal or do you think it is possible to use rotarys only. I am interested to find out how many encap carpet cleaners feel the need to carry a hwe machine and when they choose to use it.

Is any one using any of the above machines and if so what for?

I have a 15 in rotary but was considering a smaller machine for smaller areas and maybe stairs but just wanted an opinion on these machines and there performance before buying one.

I currently have an Encap Pro 15, Oreck Orbiter, and EZ spotter - thinking of adding a Cimex, Steamin Demon and later the Vario Pro.

As far as commercial carpet cleaning would I have the proper equipment setup for an owner operator company?

Would the Steamin Demon be a good choice since all carpet needs an extraction at some point? Also concerned about apartment and home move outs. Will the Cimex and Vario be able to clean the really nasty carpet?

What do VLM cleaners do if the PM ask for a HWE, would the Steamin Demon be sufficient?
