  Silk, Wool & Yak carpet
Posted by: Lounge Lizards - 07-06-2016, 06:29 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

Hi all,
I have had an enquiry to clean the carpets on board a 58m vessel whose carpets are extremely delicate being made from a composition of silk, wool and Yak!
Can anyone help me with how you would clean this carpet as it’s a mix that I’ve not come across before?
Email me if you wish to:

Many thanks in advance.
Shorty.

I'm looking at a big job here in Atlanta of a 1,000,000+ sf to do once a year for the next five years. we will have to do a combo of encap and HWE lots of cubicles. the set up is you will do about 100,000sf a month. what is the going rate on a job this size.

  Hydrox natural fiber
Posted by: mark63 - 06-27-2016, 09:43 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (6)

I read that Hydrox is not recommended for natural fiber. I really like using it on wool area rugs to pop the colors and deal with any pet urine/odor. I have had great success with it and don't want to stop using it. Just wondering if it is a boarder-line call or am I really doing a disservice to my customers?

  VARIO Pro Model
Posted by: encapman - 06-25-2016, 10:22 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (25)

The Vario machine has been a very successful machine ever since we introduced it.  We've received a lot of comments from end users who tell us that they're really pleased with its performance! We've also received a few requests suggesting that we add a handle to the front of the machine to make it easier to lift. We've been listening, so we went back to the drawing board again. We have now added a lift handle, along with a dual spray jet system to the front of the Vario (see images blow). Our goal is to not only produce the best value in an orbital machine, but to keep making it better too. Smile

Wink Thin one tuway bonnets
Posted by: Perry - 06-25-2016, 10:04 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (7)

I just wanted to post that the tuway thin ones pads under my orbot work really good on a  medium soil carpet. I seemed to be leary about them not really removing dirt and been trying them more this year on some hallways and other carpets  they did just fine . When I washed them and seen the dirty water I thought wow they do work well.
Even the 12'' under my oreck on stairs does really well.

  Duragrip pad driver
Posted by: Perry - 06-20-2016, 08:26 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

I just put the duragrip pad driver on my orbot and man does it ever grip the bonnets and glads. So I used a black floor pad on the driver then I used it on  the bonnet to try and run the machine at home.
Anyone else try this?

It just seems that the duragrip could be hard on the cotton or glad pads because it holds them real well then when you try and pull them off the duragrip they seem to pull the bonnets thread.
