  chem question
Posted by: KennyWright - 04-06-2015, 01:05 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

I have a large CGD hospital offices job coming up soon. Usually, I Cimex with Releasit and then follow up with a quick hwe rinse using Punch. Is this the best combination or should I be rinsing with something else, instead of Punch?

UsIng HyDrox on light blue carpet?
Posted by: Bernd - 04-05-2015, 11:13 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (34)

I am Bernd from Germany and got from the UK my Releasit Starter package and doing my first job with it here in Germany. it is on tuesday.

it is a light blue carpet with dog urine stains. thought of using hydrox as a prespray or spotter on the stains and then encap with hydrox. i am using a crb as a stand alone.

Can i use Hydrox on light coloured carpets (blue)?
Should i prespray the urine stains or spot them (dilution)?

Happy easter Smile !

  Using the BrushEncap, what happens?
Posted by: Act One Cleaning - 03-31-2015, 06:19 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

Guys, I've read as many posts as I can find. Here is my question: when using the BrushEncap to clean, do you attach a collecter tray to catch fuzz and debris? Do you get a fair amount of liquid back, do you add spray to heavily soiled patches to scour it out?

I ask because I use a Duplex DP420 (fantastic machine). It uses belts to recover debris, but if there isn't much moisture, the belts run dry and squeeky. So, I add water to the drip trays and 'lubricate' the belts. It works very well, but I ponder the purchase of the BrushEncap. I adore the deep scrubbing, pile lifting action of a CRB and it covers ground fast enough to suit me.

So you guys who vacuum, prespray and use CRB, how do you handle the inevitable fuzz n crap that comes up?

  So far, so good

Well gang, the Encap-Hydrox work pretty dadgum well! Residential customers are loving the way it brightens things up and in conjunction with enzyme prespray, it is gobbling up the usual pet stains. We've also been using Punch for spotting with great results. I am totally satisfied.

Oh, Rick, I wanted to ask: Does Hydrox tolerate adding a deodorizer? I put a little splash in the sprayer, but couldn't smell it. Do you think it was just eaten up?

Hi

Looking for a bit of help. I'm a Uk carpet cleaner who recently purchased a very very old cimex r38, so old its grey instead of yellow, obviously it needs a bit of tlc. I've managed to find most of the parts needed except one, the water valve connected to the handle. Truvox the manufacturers say parts for this machine are discontinued so does anyone have any ideas where I may get my hands on one.

Pic below.

Many thanks for looking.

Regards Eddie

  Need big time help!
Posted by: Dex - 03-25-2015, 10:01 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (5)

Ok, so I live in Windsor Canada, I'm 36 years old and I found out on Monday that In 2 weeks my job will no longer exist. I have been researching vlm cleaning for about a year so I do have some knowledge on this cleaning method and industry. Obviously I have a lot to learn. I do have a house and 2 kids but my wife makes good money so we should be ok for a bit. My questions for the experts is what equipment should I start with? I have about 8k saved but it I think I should hold on to it, I'll use a little for advertising and hold on to the rest. I'm going to finance 5-8k through Excellent Supply. I'm looking for responses about all the equipment I need. I made my own list but I need advice. I'm looking to do residential, apartment and hopefully commercial jobs as well.

I appreciate any response, I'm freaking out, can't sleep at all. I need help.
Thanks a million for the replies.
Trevor
