  Customer allergic to cat dander
Posted by: Stan A - 03-11-2015, 12:02 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

I have a customer who told me how her eyes swelled after being in there to be new home after a couple of hours. Said the previous owner had the carpets steam cleaned. Long story short, I have one of Ricks crb machines. I run the crb first and follow with pads on one if my o.p machines and either follow up with a good crb again with trays again to groom and pick up more gunk or a good vacuuming. Question is will this help with her allergy problem or will I need a special chem? Thanks

  Dratted telephone keeps ringing
Posted by: Act One Cleaning - 03-10-2015, 10:35 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

Folks, you know how after Christmas all the residential customers take a bit of a breather? Well I've been taking advantage of the slowdown to get other ducks quacking, but it looks like vacation is over. All day long the phone rings and rings. Thank God!

Also, I have been dumping more on my lead Elf. He is LOVING this encap process and has made off with my 175 and Senor Rolley (the Duplex). Now I have to spend more time bidding work and drinking coffee. This may end up on a beach in Tahiti if it keeps going, hahaha. Anyhow, I just wanted to encourage you if things have been slow and even if you are doing well. Quality, Integrity, Service.

  Residential Cleaning

I am going to clean my neighbors house later today.  I was wanting to encap it with the CRB I bought from you guys.  Should I use Hydrox or DS2 for this home?  Is this the process I should use?

Use the CRB on a dry floor to remove the grit and grime
Vacuum
Apply either Hydrox or DS2 from my pump up sprayer
Run the CRB over it
Apply Fans
Collect check

Have them vacuum in the morning

Thanks,

Tom Ingram

Okay, it isn't REALLY  a testimonial but I dig the old style...
Besides, she might be singing about you!  Or Shorty, maybe...

Rick do you have any ice melt carpet pictures?  Looking for something to use in an ad.

  First Cimex problem
Posted by: Lounge Lizards - 02-28-2015, 05:09 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (4)

For some strange reason, my original Big Yella has started splashing solution around.

As I go down the carpet, I can see splash marks outside the perimeter of the cleaning path on the dry carpet.

If I work alongside a wall, it splashes up the wall about 2 inches.

WHY ?????

How do I fix it ????

RODNEYYYYYYY

Thank you all.

Cool

15 CRB with spray attachment is Fast
Posted by: Joel Hoppe - 02-28-2015, 02:10 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (8)

I just got my 15 crb with the spray attachment and I hooked into the 60 psi pump we have already been using for prespray on this job and it will make cleaning under the desks and halls very fast.

I have a host liberator with the 70 lb head weight but it can not get under desks. This little 40 lb 15 brush is heavy enough and the brushes dig into carpet fine. The spray system with a 5 gal jug will do a lot of cube farms.

Thanks to Brenda and Rick for the help to decide which machine would be a good fit for the job.

  Problem with Releasit
Posted by: Act One Cleaning - 02-27-2015, 09:57 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

Someone has to warn the newbies that using Releasit causes spots to disappear so fast, your customer may become suspicious.

"Where'd that big spot go!?" She demanded.

"If you thought that vanishing was impressive, wait 'til you go look for your silverware!"  I retorted.

Stuff works like magic.  Buy some.

  For NJP

Nah mate, that SPECIAL LITTLE YELLOW BUS was not my wheels.

Here's one that I made up for VLM cleaning in 2013.

Here's one that I've nearly finished to sell off with HWE., although I currently use it for VLM, the Cimex or Sprayborg is taken out and a MasterBlend TF3500 goes in.

OOOH, this is embarrassing.

It looks like I've not taken a pic of the new one since filling it up.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

Weather permitting. Big Grin

Cheers,
