Production times for Cimex and Orbot |

I had a request to estimate a 20,000 Sq Ft Fitness club. I'd like to know what I can expect for production times with the Cimex and orbot - not what the manufactures say - but what is realistic. Id be using the beige pads from es and the spaces are completely open - as in each section I do will have all the equipment moved so its a straight shot.

Pads bundling under machine |

Well just like the title says. I bought a Vario a few weeks ago and I'm having some issues with both microbeast and microglide pads bundling up under the machine and I have to stop every couple of minutes to fix it.
It doesn't seem to be an issue with the superzorbs.
Any hints as to what I'm doing wrong or what I should be doing different?

I need direction on a few residential cleaning questions... |

If you've read my recent posts you're well aware that I am a newbie when it comes to LOW-MOISTURE carpet cleaning. I am slowly testing and trying to find a process that works well and am struggling with all the newbie questions that come with this style of cleaning. Here are the questions I have... (Please note - I'm specifically asking about residential)
****Here is the Equipment I have****
Orbot with spray borg, Micro-beast and Micro-glide Bonnets, maxipro battery powered sprayer, Oreck vacuum cleaner.
Q#1. Should I pre-spray my solution with a battery sprayer before and let dwell or just use my orbot and apply as I clean, or should I be doing some sort of a combination of the two?
Q#2. How wet should my bonnets be - just damp as in spray some encapp on them before using them or should I downright soak them and wring them out before using them?
Q#3. Should I be following up my initial work-in of the product with a pass that is not applying solution? If so should I be using a separate bonnet, if so should that bonnet be wet or dry.
Another ( I would LOVE it if you guys shared this) equally helpful way of answering this - would be to share your process for light, medium, and trashed residential carpets. If I could just get a baseline to use I feel I could find my way. As a 15 year HWE guy, I'm great at what I do - but I feel downright lost with residential low-moisture and I so want to figure this out. Thank you guys for your patience with my questions!

Movie Theatre seat cleaning & pricing |

Well thanks to ds2 & cimex, I was the highest bid for local movie theatre and after the demo got the job. finished a few nights ago and they were very happy. They want me to comeback and give a quote for 177 theatre seats in one of the rooms, they also said the chairs have a musty odor. im not sure how much to charge or the best method for cleaning them? I thought I was a lock for at least twice a year, but if I bid to high on the chairs it could open the back door for a competitor to get in there.

I encapped a filthy microfiber couch & love seat today, it looked very good when I finished, but when I ran my terry cloth towel over it at the end the terry was getting very dirty. is that normal?

So I did my first residential low moisture cleaning with the Orbot, ds2, and Micoglide bonnets. The basement carpet cleaned up well with no real issues (dense carpet-more fibers per square inch- glided better over fiber), but the carpet upstairs which was more of a frisey style (less fibers per square inch-a bit more drag) seemed to have some fiber separation. I applied releasit via the sprayborg as i was going. here was my process...
#1. prevac
#2. Mix ds according to instructions.
#3. Place dry microglide pad on orbot.
#4. Flip orbot head down.
#5. Trigger solution spray and wet down fiber just in front on the orbot.
#6. Place orbot with dry pad on wet sprayed area and turn on.
#7. Complete cleaning passes triggering forward infront of the machine as i clean.
#8. Return to starting position with no trigger.
#9. Move to next row. Repeat
Cleaned a total of 600 sq ft. Used 2.5 orbot jugs of cleaning product.
What if anything did i do wrong here get the fiber seperation? And what other sugguestions might you guys have based on what ive written

I currently use a Ninja box/wand extractor. I'm interested in purchasing
a self contained push (forward) unit. Does anyone have any thoughts on
this? Are they good to use? Do they clean as well as a wand? Before I spent
$3000-$4500 I would like to know what I'm getting into!!!
