Cleaning Olefin Carpet Squares in a gym
Posted by: procarpet - 07-29-2014, 06:30 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (19)

How would you approach carpet squares in a gym? We usually hwe them, but it is a 24 hr gym so never a good time to have hoses running around. I'm a newly converted encapper, just decided to take my toes out of the water and dive in. I currently use a sanitaire 175 with the fiber max pads and ds2. Is this enough to battle the sweat, grease and the sanitary soap they spray all over the carpet when they are wiping down the equipment? Any advice is appreciated, I have a method, but I am not an expert in the encap world... yet

Hi Rick,

I can't seem to find the velcro head for the Vario on the web site. Is it available for individual sale?

The TM would've never made it let alone the marina's rules regarding trip hazards on the docks. The Vario made easy work of it. I took a few before shots but I failed to get post clean pics.

  FiberPlus vs FiberPlus MAX pads
Posted by: CleanItGreen - 07-25-2014, 10:35 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (10)

anyone use the FiberPlus MAX pads with their cimex? i tend to use the regular FP pads but i'm wondering if the FP MAX pads are better on CGD.

seems that from what you guys that padcap are doing, the microfiber pads are best over just the normal cotton pads. Anyone know of where there are Cimex sized ones?

  vlm movie theatre seats
Posted by: mark63 - 07-23-2014, 09:56 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

I have 200 movie theatre seats to clean and at $3.00 per seat I am going to forgo vacuum or any type of extraction. I was wondering the best vlm process. I have the rota drill brush from Rick, drill driver with a fiber plus pad or 8in thin one tuway bonnet? Im leaning toward drill driver with a fiberplus pad.

  Big Yella problem
Posted by: Lounge Lizards - 07-23-2014, 01:38 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (14)

The other night I was doing a FILTHY job on direct stick.

When I filled the solution tank for the second tank (with less than 20 F2 to go Angry, the solution would not feed out into the pads.

Any ideas??

The solution tank is clear.

Pulled off the hose at the solution tank and everything ran well, so I figured, SOMEHOW, a blockage between the nipple on top of the base plate and the drive boards.

When I tilted the head back to wheel the machine out to the van, solution overflowed from the reservoir ???

Can the reservoir which feeds the solution into each drive board somehow be blocked ??

Today I have pulled the three plugs around the perimeter and back-flushed with a hose.

I'm now about to clean a rug (hopefully) to check if it is working okay, yes, I'm at home. Big Grin

I would have done this earlier but I've been too busy cleaning leathers $$$$$$$$$$$

And drinking fine wine Wink

Cool

  Encap and carpet protector?
Posted by: bonedrycarpet - 07-22-2014, 10:43 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (1)

What would happen if I added carpet protector to my encap? Example is if I added to the new bio green encap by Rick. Great stuff btw.
