What A Difference - Carpet & Tile Cleaning - Lexington KY

  Encapman Help!
Posted by: mark63 - 05-22-2014, 06:14 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

I just used my makita polisher/sander with a hook and loop plate to clean Uph. I put a 8in bonnet on top of a fiber plus carpet pad, It did not work very well so I took the bonnet off. It was a microfiber couch & love seat so no problem (worked great with Bio-encap) My question is can I use the fiberplus pads for all my Uph? If not can you recommend something, I have some more Uph coming up. Thank You!

Why the TruckPort makes such good sense

Our TruckPort extractors are pretty cool if you don't mind me saying so.

First of all we now have them in 3 flavors:

Truckmounts usually range between 300-500 psi for carpet cleaning. The 500 psi TruckPort has an adjustable pump that provides a flexible range of pressure all the way up to 500 psi. So it's in the same league as the truckmounts.

All of the TruckPort models have 200 inches of water lift. How is that achieved? We're running two of the new 6.6 hi-flow air-watt 2-stage vacuums in series. These vac motors sip electricity as they produce excellent water lift. The TruckPorts are configured to achieve at least 200" of water lift (see the gauge below). Having such high water lift is PERFECT for short hoses like you'd typically run with a porty.

The 500 psi models come with onboard heat. Services magazine May/June issue made this comment: "A heated carpet extractor may use less water because the heat improves the effectiveness of the cleaning chemicals. This would mean fewer wand passes to clean the same area, which would result in less water being used." The TruckPort's 2000 watt heater delivers hot water on-demand.

We also have an Auto-Fill & Auto-Dump option for the 500 psi model, as well as the 1200 psi extractor. So that adds a little bit more convenience.

The 1200 psi model is perfect for doing tile & grout cleaning. It has the kind of pressure and water volume you need to feed a spinner tool like the Turboforce Hybrid. The recovery is excellent too.

I also love the fact that there's a built-in Circuit Indicator. That helps you to determine whether or not the cords have been plugged into separate circuits. Makes it easy to operate without blowing breakers.

Now let's get down to a couple of non-spec items. I think the color combination looks terrific! We also carefully planned the name and logo for the TruckPort. We wanted something that you could put in front of your customers as a "truckmount alternative" - because that's what these machines rightly are. We're not saying they're as powerful as a behemoth truckmount. Sometimes that's not really needed when a well endowed portable is capable of getting the job done. The TruckPort fits the bill.

In fact I was speaking with one of our customers yesterday who is running a TruckPort. He said that he's really happy with its performance. He uses it exclusively to clean commercial accounts. He said he likes its excellent suction. He feels it's an awesome machine.

Oh one last thing... The price on the TruckPorts is pretty sweet too!

Those are the reasons why I say "the TruckPort makes good sense". Smile

Check 'em out...

  Weights on Orbot
Posted by: CleanRite Carpet Cleaning - 05-21-2014, 10:59 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (3)

I have the weight kit for the orbot sprayborg which I generally used for scrubbing hard surfaces. Are these weights necessary for encapping carpet. I tried using the weights on a commercial carpet recently and my fibre plus pad got chewed up (although the pad was getting old). Interested in what others do or think about this. Thanks Aaron

  24" Cimex

i cant find the thread(s) where this model was discussed for CC'ing. i know 1 or 3 guys are using this larger model Cimex for CC'ing. what is the biggest con in using it? you have to custom-cut your own pads to fit the larger pad drivers??

seems like this would CC faster and possibly better?

  Mytee 175 or Vario
Posted by: joey895 - 05-21-2014, 09:30 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (9)

Hey guys,

I made the switch a few months ago to vlm for my high rise condos that are not accessible with the truckmount.

I've been using my dinosaur 20 inch 175 and crb and I'm convinced that vlm is where i need to be on these, as opposed to portable hwe, so it's time to upgrade some equipment.

Think of these as higher end apartments with mostly medium grade cut pile carpet and various types of looped, what i call berber, carpets. Hardly any of these allow pets, so pet urine is rarely an issue and i bought a spotter from here for the occasional time it's needed.

I had pretty much settled on the 17 inch mytee 175 with shampoo tank but the Vario is also a consideration. I'd like opinions on which you would choose and why?

I guess it boils down to will the Vario clean better or faster or both or neither? Or what I'd be gaining for the extra money.

Keep in mind i do have a Cimex already if that would affect your opinion at all

Thanks all.

18 Month Interest Free Financing for the next 2 weeks
Posted by: encapman - 05-21-2014, 06:15 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - No Replies

For 2 weeks (beginning TODAY) from May 21st - June 3rd you can take advantage of a Special Offer for 18 MONTHS OF INTEREST FREE Financing.

For the next 2 weeks you can enjoy a new equipment purchase, while enjoying interest free financing for 18 months. We have great deals on Cimex machines, Vario scrubbers, BrusEncap machines, and Truckport extractors. Of course you can use this special financing offer for ANYTHING that you'd like at Excellent Supply. Click to view machines.

Here are the terms of this Finance Offer:

  • 18 months interest free
  • Minimum monthly payments required
  • One-time 5% transaction charge on the total purchase*

    * The finance company passes along a one-time 5% transaction charge to process each loan. For example a $2,000 loan would have a one-time $100 transaction charge, and a $3,000 loan would have a $150 transaction charge. (We'd all love it if the finance company didn't pass along any processing charges, but this is how they present their finance offer.)
I don't know about you, but I always think it's nice to be able to use someone else's "interest-free" money to fund an equipment acquisition! We're excited to offer what we feel represents a great deal, and we look forward to serving you!

Give us a call at our office to learn more 1-800-330-1888.
