New cord? Kodiak or HD special
Posted by: CleaningConcierge - 04-09-2014, 02:12 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (2)

Maybe Rod or Rick can answer this question.

I want to put a new, longer and thicker cord on the Cimex. I am thinking of going with a 12 or 10 gauge 75 foot cord from home depot. Any drawbacks?

Or should I get a the Kodiak cord and keep a 50' 10 gauge extension cord on the van. Some times 50' doesn't cut it (with cubicles, broken outlets or hidden outlets).

Any thoughts?

Here is a cheap, quick and Easy way to improve the looks of your Orbots.

Installed a chrome strip around the bottom. Bought it at AutoZone. Exact width and sticks very well with the provided 3m tape.

  Deadine really need this
Posted by: Dion-Indiana - 04-05-2014, 01:58 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (15)

Hello I have a construction company who wants me to put a bid in. They want me to put a bid on 3,515 sqft of vinyl commercial tile new.

They need my process to:
I'm going to scrub with 175 rotary using red pad to clean factory finish off.
Then I apply finish.
How would you write this to be more professional and how much would charge. What would be the lowest I would go?

Posted by: clapton - 04-02-2014, 10:45 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (8)

I got a contract with a big hotel near San Francisco bay area, 296 rooms .
I have no tools for the moment,so no experience . I 'm taxi driver , so all the hotel staff
now me, and will help how much was the last cleaning.(is ithat a chance of my life?).
I'm alone ,still confused which tools I need(vario , crb and gecko; vario,cimex,gecko...).
I have to hire somebody or hire a company to help me(using a same concept ,encap...)
(I have to be realistic)
inside myself I'm ashamed: a lack of experience , so I'm not competent yet and I would like to hire company representing me, using vlm method. So any help, advice ,suggestions
thank you all

  EDDM help (Rick)
Posted by: BGCD - 04-01-2014, 07:54 PM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (9)

I put Rick in the top so he would notice. But I would like everyone's help. I want to put together a commercial EDDM. Has anyone done this? And if so can you post yours. I am looking for something that pops with current bullet points and pictures. Rooms that are half cleaned to show the difference. I will be putting these in a commercial folder, handing some out and mailing some. We just hired a commercial sales rep. And would like to get some printed ASAP. We use the Cimex and Orbot. We do have TM equipment. But only use encapsulation on CGD. Thanks.

  encap Uph cleaning
Posted by: mark63 - 04-01-2014, 07:18 AM - Forum: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Replies (8)

Im going to try encaping uph, I'm getting the makita 9227cx3 polisher/sander? just wondering what pads i would use, were I can get them, and can I or should I get velcro on the driver to put fiber pads on. And what encap product to use. I've read also where people go back the next day to vacuum, can this step be avoided, otherwise i'll be avoiding encaping uph? Thank You.

Just did about 1200 sq ft of commercial carpet with my crb and Hydrox. I used about 4 gallons of pre-spray mixed 10oz to a gallon.
I was happy with the results. Think I will use some Punch followed up with DS2 next time.
